### Steps to Remove DNS Records:
1. **Log in to Cloudflare:**
– Go to [Cloudflare Dashboard](https://dash.cloudflare.com) and log in with your account credentials.
2. **Select Your Domain:**
– Choose the domain associated with the Search Console property.
3. **Navigate to DNS Settings:**
– Click on the **"DNS"** tab in the Cloudflare dashboard.
4. **Identify Google DNS Verification Records:**
– Look for the DNS records that were added for Google Search Console verification. These are typically:
– **TXT Record:** A record with the name of your domain (or `@` for the root domain) and a value that starts with `google-site-verification=`.
– **CNAME Record:** (Optional) If you added a CNAME record for verification, it might point to a Google domain.
5. **Remove the Records:**
– Locate the relevant TXT or CNAME record in the list of DNS records.
– Click the **Delete (Trash)** icon next to the record.
– Confirm the deletion.
6. **Save Changes:**
– Once deleted, Cloudflare automatically saves the updated DNS settings.
### Verify the Changes:
– After removing the record, it will no longer be available for Google Search Console verification.
– Google might notify you that the verification for the property is no longer valid.
### Additional Notes:
– Removing the DNS record will only impact Google Search Console verification. If you want to continue using the property, ensure you verify it using another method (e.g., HTML file, meta tag, or Google Tag Manager).
– Changes to DNS records may take a few minutes to propagate globally.
